Kangs lose defensive struggle | Prep girls basketball

The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team lost a defensive struggle Friday, 45-29, in Kirkland.

The two teams combined for just 23 points during the first half and the Totems outscored the home team 30-21 during the second half.

Sydney Shepard scored eight points to lead the Kang offense.
