Juanita loses to Bear Creek to open season | Prep boys basketball

The Juanita High School boys basketball team lost to Bear Creek, 47-38, on Tuesday in Redmond to open the season.

The teams played close during the first quarter but the home team pulled away by outscoring the Rebels 31-15 during the second and third quarters. Juanita attempted a comeback with a 13-4 fourth-quarter run but it was not enough.

No further information was reported.

Juanita will host Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 9.
