Juanita High School receives Best Delegation Award at Model United Nations Conference

Half of the Juanita High School (JHS) Model United Nations club attended the Pacific Model United Nations Conference Nov. 22-23 in Bellevue, which is the largest in-state conference of the year.

These ten students impressed the judges, winning the school one of two “Best Delegation” awards. In addition, the following students received Outstanding Delegate awards: senior Deryck Gebe; junior Monisha Weerasundara; junior Fedor Pogulsky; and freshman Shawdi Mehrvarzan.
