Northwest University’s Young CCC Player of the Week for second time | College men’s soccer

Northwest University’s (NU) Taylor Young has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season as announced by the league office.
Young, a senior co-captain from Bellevue, scored a goal in each of the Eagles wins over Oregon Tech and the College of Idaho. Against COI, Young was injured in the first half only to return in the second to score the final goal of the game. He had an assist on the game tying goal in the first half against the College of Idaho.
Taylor is the CCC leader in assists and has seven goals to his credit.
Junior defender, Ryan Gamache, was named honorable mention for defensive player of the week.
For the NU women’s soccer team, senior forward Acacia Johnson earned honorable mention honors this week for offensive player of the week.
