She denied Kirkland citizens their right to vote on annexation.

She politically acted on her own making promises to outside agencies without Kirkland City Council approval. There has not been a time when she has not tried to circumvent the public process to fund charities of her choice, money we need to fund charities of our choice.

She diverts local funds creating artificial non-existing budget shortfalls in order to justify tax measures on the ballot. She believes regional issues are more important than local issues.

She wants older fixed income citizens to bear the financial burden of unsubstantial tax increases by using expensive reverse mortgages.

She believes in higher density developments creating more jams.

She has lowered the quality of life and reduced our hard fought level of service we voted and paid for.

She has censored our ability to question and denied us to speak on how concurrency of the Growth Management Act is interpreted.  She and others adopted an ordinance that prevents us citizens from speaking.  She preferred to mussel us.

Do we want the same?

Robert L. Style, Kirkland
