Kawabata strikes out 11 in victory for Juanita | Prep softball

The Juanita High School girls softball team received a dominant performance from starting pitcher Milly Kawabata on Friday during a 5-2 victory against Bellevue.

Kawabata threw a complete game, striking out 11 batters and giving up two earned runs. Both runs were scored on home runs.

On offense, Rebel Madi Hedlund was 2-for-3 with a double, while teammate Aimee Richardson was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Brynn Radke also picked up a key base hit.
