Hundreds of Seahawk fans packed Marina Park in downtown Kirkland Saturday for a 12th Man rally.
The city of Kirkland produced the rally, as new Mayor Amy Walen addressed the crowd of Kirklanders dressed in ‘Hawks gear to get ready for the NFC Championship game.
The crowd was assembled to take a photo in the shape of a 12 to celebrate the team’s fans who are known as the “12th Man.” The Seahawks went on to defeat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, 23-17, to advance to the Super Bowl.
