Finn Hill Middle School musicians selected for 2014 Junior All-State performances

Finn Hill Middle School student musicians Samantha Ellis, Nathaniel Skiles and Raegan Samoluk were selected for the 2014 Junior All-State band and choir performances.

Ellis, a seventh grader, plays flute and Skiles, an eighth grader, plays french horn, while Samoluk is a seventh grade vocalist.

To earn a position in these highly prestigious ensembles the students had to submit recorded auditions along with hundreds of other music students from across the state.

The Junior All-State performances will take place at the Washington Music Educators convention on Feb. 15 in Yakima, Wash.
