Kirklanders watch as boats are launched during the Moss Bay Cardboard Boat Regatta at last weekend's 2013 Kirkland Summerfest.

The second annual Kirkland Summerfest began Aug. 9, launching the weekend-long celebration with music, activities, food and fun for all.
