The streets of downtown Kirkland were temporarily shut down today to commemorate the 2013 Fourth of July parade put on by Celebrate Kirkland!

The cloudy weather didn’t stop Kirklanders from enjoying the annual Celebrate Kirkland! Fourth of July parade today.

Thousands flocked to downtown Kirkland and lined the sidewalks of Central Way, Main Street, Kirkland Avenue and Lake Street South to watch marching bands, decorated vehicles, dancers and even pirates kick off the 2013 Fourth of July.
