I am Marion Morrison. I have been a Merrill Gardens resident for four years since it first opened and I am 98 years old. My hearing is not very good and my eyesight is diminishing. I am able to walk but am very unsteady and rely on my walker. But I do enjoy a short stroll near my home.

If the McLeod building goes through will all the extra traffic I will be afraid to venture out. I fear for the safety of all my friends at Merrill Gardens.

At present there are more than 100 residents in the home. I have really enjoyed downtown Kirkland and the lake and do feel it will lose the charm with a huge office building and parking garage and more traffic congestion in the town.
