Rebels baseball team crushes Eastlake, loses to Hazen

The Juanita High School baseball team crushed Eastlake Friday, 8-1, scoring all eight runs during the top of the sixth inning. The Rebels then lost to Hazen 3-0 on Saturday.

Juanita and Eastlake looked to be locked in a pitchers’ duel when Eastlake took the late 1-0 lead during the bottom of the fifth. But the Rebel offense crushed the ball during the top of the next inning behind two RBI from Connor Jackson.

Jackson had a big day, going 3-for-4 with a run scored. Teammate Ty Eng also hit well, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the sixth, a double and a triple.
