Houghton Community Council appoints Georgine Foster

Georgine Foster was appointed to a vacant seat on the Houghton Community Council at the council’s regular meeting on Aug. 22.

The appointment is for an unexpired four-year term that will end upon certification of the 2013 general election. The position became vacant upon the resignation of former Councilmember Kathleen McMonigal.
