The Goldfish Rodeo will be held at noon on Friday at 112 Lake Street South, between Milagro Cantina and Hectors, in downtown Kirkland to benefit the two children of Steve Lacey. The innocent victim of a drunk driver, Lacey died on July 26 around 2 p.m. while returning home from an errand to Costco on N.E. 85th Street in Kirkland.

The event will allow participants to catch a goldfish and take one home, get their faces painted or purchase baked goodies. All donations benefit the Lacey kids’ college fund.
