Former Kirkland Mayor Doris Cooper’s memorial set for Saturday

Former Kirkland Mayor Doris Cooper’s memorial service will be held at  1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the Kirkland Congregational Church located at 106 5th Avenue. A reception will be held at the Kirkland Women’s Club following the service. Cooper was the first woman mayor of Kirkland and served in government for nearly three decades.
