Lake Washington High School Beta Club members spent another very productive session supporting Evergreen Hospital’s Hospice.

This time students made cuddly, attractive fleece blankets in the cafeteria. This meant cutting the fabric, fraying the edges and meticulously knotting the frayed edges together.

It was cathartic for students (and their advisors), but also rewarding since these are very popular among recipients.

The spirit of giving continued when the following Beta Club students also volunteered to serve as wait staff for the Lake Washington Schools Foundation Luncheon: Claire Cooper, Mary Nelson, Sean Deleon, Brittany Plumb, Laura Duncan, Tessa Pratt, Suejean Hwangpo, Molly Shipman, Payton Jones, Shada Shomali, Kim Koshman, Sara Thompson and Nikola Lakic.
