Lake Washington enters playoffs as No. 5 seed | Lacrosse

The Lake Washington Kangs wrapped up their regular lacrosse season with two losses, entering the post season as the No. 5 seed from the Northwest conference.
In the final week of the regular season the Kangs lost to Mercer Island on Tuesday, May 10. The Islanders beat Lake Washington 19-5. Jake Bernstein put up two goals for the team, while Hank Schmale had one goal and an assist, while Jonah Friedl made 14 saves during the loss.
Later in the week the team lost to Bellevue, 14-5. Jake Bernstein had two more goals in that match, while Cody Bernstein had two of his own. Steven Keppes had a goal and Friedl made four saves.
The team began the post season on Tuesday, May 17, after Reporter deadline, traveling to play No. 4 seed King’s Way in Vancouver.
The winner of Tuesday’s game faces Mercer Island, who earned the No. 1 seed, on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at Mercer Island High School.
