The Lake Washington baseball team lost three games last week and took its frustrations out on Skyline Tuesday with a 9-1 victory.

The Kangs got on the board early with four runs during the top of the third inning on a RBI single by Nori Shimizu, a Spartan error and bases loaded walks to Kangs’ Cruikshank and Spencer Jackson.

Lake Washington pushed the lead to 7-0 with a two-run single by Colin Tremblay and a RBI single by Theo Alexander. Tremblay and Alexander came back to the plate during the sixth to combine for the team’s final two runs.

Junior Alex Donnelly also had a good day at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Shimizu scored three runs for Lake Washington. Skyline committed six errors during the game.

The win gets the Kangs back to .500 at 5-5.

Lake Washington will play at 7 p.m. at Lee Johnson Field Thursday against Eastlake.
