Preparations begin at Everest Park for Junior Softball World Series

Preparations have started for Kirkland to host the Junior Softball World Series on Aug. 16-22 at Everest Park. The tournament will be carried on the ESPN family of networks.

The tournament is held annually, one of eight World Series sponsored by Little League Baseball Inc.

Teams will come to Kirkland to represent the following areas of the world: USA East, USA West, USA Southeast, USA Southwest, USA Central, Canada, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) and the host team of Washington District 9.
