A trio of Lake Washington High tennis players netted spots in the district tournament in May.

At the 3A KingCo tourney last weekend, LW’s Brett Pearson finished second in singles, losing to Cameron Yang of Bellevue.

In doubles, Kangs Shubhu Purohit and Alex Levine lost a tough three-set match in the semifinals and rebounded to defeat the Mercer Island duo of Hixon/Harder in the third-place match.
