Thorn finishes his golf season at districts

Lake Washington High junior golf captain David Thorn qualified for the 3A Sea-King district tournament with a 76 at the 2A/3A KingCo medalist tournament on Oct. 14 at Snohomish Golf Course. He shot an 85 at districts and didn’t make the state cut on Oct. 22 at Riverbend Golf Course. Thorn had the Kangs’ best match scoring average for the season of 41 and he notched medalist honors once. The Kangs finished fourth in the team standings at the medalist tournament.
