Registration is now open for Kirkland’s the 23rd annual Peter Kirk Classic, presented by Edward Jones.

The all-day event is set for Sept. 25 and will feature a continental breakfast, box lunch and an all-you-can eat barbecue awards dinner, courtesy of Overlake Hospital. Contestants will also receive a t-shirt, swag bags and access to awards and raffles.

The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce plans to provide several new features: A live scoreboard, golf ball launcher and a glass-break challenge. But the chamber still needs sponsorships to fund these features.

Anyone who is interested in sponsoring the tournament is asked to contact the chamber. Golf spots fill up quickly, according to a press release, so people are urged to reserve their spot, either as an individual or a four-person group.
