LW’s Wilson and Bumiller team up for no-hitter

Jane Wilson and Tess Bumiller joined forces to notch a no-hitter in Lake Washington’s 19-0 softball victory over Sammamish on April 17. Lilly Bean hammered a grand slam and also had a double for seven RBIs.

In Juanita softball, Jordan Schroeder homered in the top of the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie and give the Rebels a 5-4 victory over Bellevue. Also for the Rebels, Sasha Mitchell had three hits — including a homer — and Abbie Reynolds had three hits.

On the baseball diamond, LW defeated Liberty, 4-1, and were led by Jesus Vizcarra with two hits.
