Lake Washington’s baseball and softball squads notched victories on Thursday.

In baseball, the Kangs defeated Liberty, 4-3, behind two hits from Nation Wood, one hit and two RBIs from Travis Lee, one hit and one RBI from Michael Buchanan and one hit and one RBI from Brayden Boyes.

On the softball diamond, the Kangs beat Sammamish, 15-1, behind a homer and three RBIs from Marissa Ewald, two hits and three RBIs from Tori Bivens and two hits from Emma Rosendal.
