LW boys soccer ends Mercer Island’s perfect league season

Lake Washington rebounded from a two-goal deficit to end Mercer Island’s perfect league season with a 4-3 boys soccer win at Mercer Island on Tuesday night.

The teams will square off again for the 3A KingCo title at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mercer Island.

LW went down 0-2 early, but battled back to tie it at the half and eventually come away with the win.

LW goals were from Baptiste Debuire, Dalton Ferguson and two from Arturo Lomeli. Tom Veldee had one assist and Paul Skorupa had two assists.

Mercer Island finished the regular season atop the table at 13-1-0 and LW was second at 12-2-0.
