Kirkland lacrosse players (left to right) Bode Maurer, Vin Maxwell and Gage Adams were named to the Under Armour Underclass Command Division All-American team representing the West this summer. The boys recently played seven games over four days to win the first-ever championship for the West over Connecticut, 7-6, in overtime. On their way to the championship, the West beat perennial powerhouse teams from Long Island, New Jersey and New England. Maxwell helped the team as an assistant coach for the tournament after suffering a back injury the previous weekend. Photos courtesy of Larry Maurer
