Lake Washington girls set for 3A basketball regionals

Lake Washington High’s girls basketball team will compete in the 3A regional tournament at 6 p.m. Saturday against Snohomish at Jackson High in Mill Creek.

The 3A KingCo champs (15-9 overall) beat Roosevelt, 47-45, and lost to Seattle Prep, 52-44, and West Seattle, 57-54, in the SeaKing District tourney.

Juanita (12-13 overall) was eliminated at districts with a 39-35 loss to Holy Names Academy. At districts, the Rebels beat Franklin, 62-56, and lost to Garfield, 74-33.
