The Lake Washington High boys basketball team blasted winless Sammamish, 69-35, in a KingCo Conference match up on Jan. 9 at Lake Washington High School.

Lake Washington’s Dalton Liesse led the Kangs (3-3 KingCo, 5-3) with 16 points. Beau Heimdahl had 11 points and four assists, Sam Linsky had 10 points and seven rebounds and Jordan Richter had 10 points.

The Kangs led 29-10 at halftime and outscored Sammamish 19-7 in the fourth quarter.

Jared Jackson led the Totems (0-7, 0-13) with 15 points.

Next, Lake Washington is scheduled to play Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 10 at Liberty High School in Renton.
