The Kangs were on fire out of the gate, scoring 29 first-quarter points, while holding the Wolves to single digits. It was Lake Washingtons highest first-quarter scoring total of the young season.

Cedarcrest regrouped to win the second quarter 15-12.

But Lake Washington put the game away during the third quarter, extending its lead by 14 points.

Austin Glenn led the Kangs with 19 points, while teammates Jamal Muhammad (14), Jeff Staudacher (13) and Drew Heimdahl (12) all finished in double figures. Kelly Guy scored nine points for Lake Washington.
