Juanita girls tennis narrowly loses to Woodinville

The Juanita High School girls tennis team lost to Woodinville, 4-3 on Thursday.

The Rebels collected two important wins in singles play. No. 2 singles player Grace Wang eaned a 6-3, 6-2 victory, and teammate Sheer Shalom won the No. 4 singles match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

Shawdi Mehrvarzan and Emily Do of Juanita also picked up a 6-2, 6-3 victory during the No. 3 doubles contest.

“Overall, everyone played well and had a great day, and are looking forward to our make-up match against Bothell,” said Juantia head coach Justin Ochsner.
