Haverford College’s Rosnow snags lacrosse honor

Overlake graduate, Kirkland resident on a roll

Haverford College junior attacker Rina Rosnow has been named the Centennial Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

The Overlake School graduate and Kirkland resident scored eight goals this week and also tallied an assist as the Fords (7-2 overall, 1-1 conference) took down Eastern by a final score of 21-5 before a narrow loss to No. 10 Franklin & Marshall by a final tally of 8-7. Rosnow posted four goals in each of the two contests.

She has now tallied four or more goals in each of the last four contests and has registered at least a hat trick in six of Haverford’s nine games this season.

Rosnow pulled into the team’s lead in points (30) and goals (27). Rosnow has tallied two game-winning goals, collected six ground balls and won five draw controls so far this season. She has also caused four turnovers on the year. Her .562 shot percentage is the second-best mark on the squad amongst players with at least 10 shots.

The school is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania.
