Eight Northwest University athletes earn major academic honors

A total of 122 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes in the winter sports of men’s and women’s basketball and men’s wrestling have earned U.S. Bank Academic All-CCC honors for their performances in the classroom.

Among the 122 student-athletes named, eight Northwest University Eagles earned All-CCC academic honors. To earn recognition as a CCC scholar-athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and sophomore standing.

The NU Eagles who earned All-CCC honors were:

  • · Miranda Langenhorst, Susanville, Calif., Soph., Women’s Basketball, Interdisciplinary Studies
  • · Katie Rozumny, Auburn, Wash., Sr., Women’s Basketball, Communication
  • · Mikayla Sites, Cashmere, Wash., Jr., Women’s Basketball, Business Administration
