Three Aegis Living communities in the Eastside are sponsoring two teams from the Senior Softball League. The players are active adults, ages 55-86 years old with amazing energy and enthusiasm.

The Owls, sponsored by Aegis Lodge and Aegis of Kirkland played a double header game against the Aegis of Redmond team.

The three communities thought this would be a perfect activity for their residents to show their support for their teams and organized a big “tail-gate” event to cheer their teams, with hot dogs, brats, ice cream, sodas and more. Over 40 residents plus families and staff show up to the event.

The players, spent time meeting and greeting the residents and chatting with them before the games. Games usually happen on Mondays and Wednesday at Crestwood Park in Kirkland.
