The Kirkland Merchants baseball team won the Lee Johnson Invitational Tournament last week, beating Toyota in the championship game.

The Merchants outlasted the Bremerton Stingers and En Fuego in the semifinals before meeting the Toyota in the finals.

The Merchants will host their team tryouts for next summer this weekend.
