Lake Washington boys soccer earn win over Garfield | Prep notebook

The Kangs of the Lake Washington boys soccer team earned an upset win over the second place KingCo team on Tuesday night, beating Garfield 1-0 in overtime.

Lake Washington, currently ranked seventh in the league, battled with the Bulldogs for two full halves before forcing the overtime situation. Using the home field advantage Cameron Veres was able to end the match in the 90th minute with an unassisted goal for the win.

Lake Washington is 3-8-3 this season.
