Lux 13U wins Kirkland city baseball Pony championship

The Kirkland Lux 13U won the Pony league city championship by defeating Fabri Thunder, 8-2, June 22 at Lee Johnson Field.

Travis Lee led the team by going 2-for-2 at the plate and gave the Lux a 2-0 lead on a first-inning single. He also singled during the sixth innings. The Lux scored three runs during the fourth inning on a ground out by Ryan Lhyle and an error.

Philip Roe started for Lux and pitched six innings, allowing no earned runs, four hits and no walks, while striking out three batters.
