Lake Washington rides 11-run first inning to victory | Prep girls softball

The Lake Washington High School girls softball team scored 11 first-inning runs Thursday, beating Sammamish, 16-0, in Bellevue.

The Kangs also scored one run in the third, one in the fourth and three in the fifth inning. Hannah Walker led the Lake Washington offense with four RBI and went 3-for-3, while teammate Danielle Durbin was 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Maddie Brown picked up the complete-game shutout from the pitching circle.
