Lake Washington doubles up Liberty | Prep girls softball

The Lake Washington High School girls softball team doubled up Liberty, 6-3, on Wednesday in Kirkland.

Liberty began the game with a 3-1 lead but the Kangs tied up the contest during the bottom of the second. Lake Washington scored three more runs during the fifth inning and never looked back.

Cori Meyers finished the contest a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate while teammate Dakota Pettit-Garl had two RBI with a double.

Pitcher Maddie Brown picked up the win, throwing four innings and striking out six batters.
