Knox hat trick lifts Lake Washington past Interlake | Prep boys soccer

Alexander Knox came up big for Lake Washington Friday night, scoring a hat trick against Interlake. The Kangs boys soccer team beat the Saints, 4-1.

Lake Washington got on the board first, as Jose Tores took pass from Hugh McGlynn and put it into the back of the Saint's goal at the five minute mark. Interlake came back 19 minutes later with a game-tying goal.

But it was all Knox during the rest of the game. Hugh McGlynn fed a pass to Knox during the 31st minute, as the Kangs took a 2-1 lead. Liam Knox and James Corbett both earned assists during the 63rd minute, as Alexander Knox earned his second goal of the game.

Corbett and Alexander Knox teamed up again during the final seconds of the game to complete the hat trick.
