Two home runs power Juanita past Eastlake | Prep girls softball

Two home runs helped to power the Juanita High School girls softball team past Eastlake, 2-1, on Thursday in Issaquah.

Lisa Nelson and Aimee Richardson both hit home runs during the contest, as starting pitcher Milly Kawabata threw seven complete innings, giving up one unearned run and striking out eight batters.

Madi Hedlund also was 1-for-3 at the plate with a double.
