Juanita blasts two home runs, loses to Redmond | Prep softball

The Juanita High School softball team collected two home runs Monday at Hartman Park in Redmond, but the Mustang offense proved to be too much to overcome in the 11-4 loss.

Redmond began the game with a huge eight-run first inning. But Juanita never gave up, scoring one during the third an done during the fifth to force seven innings.

Morgan Figueroa finished the game 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and two stolen bases for the Rebels, while teammate Lisa Nelson also hit a home run.
