Juanita wins seesaw battle with Lake Washington | Prep girls basketball

The Juanita High School girls basketball team won a seesaw battle with Lake Washington Wednesday 56-46 at Juanita High School.

The Rebels started strong with a 16-9 first-quarter advantage. But the Kangs stormed back to cut the Juanita lead to 24-23 by halftime.

Juanita took control after halftime with another 16-9 run and managed to stay ahead of Lake Washington during the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Juanita was led by Shalexxus Aaron with 18 points, while teammates Jaisa Nunn (12 points) and Mary Carter (10 points) both finished in double figures. Carly Rataushk led the Kangs with 19 points.
