Lake Washington beats Juanita | Prep boys basketball

The Lake Washington High School boys basketball team defeated Juanita Tuesday 60-45.

The two teams played close throughout the first quarter with the Kangs taking a narrow one-point lead. But the Rebels found the Lake Washington defense tough to penetrate during the second and third quarters, as the Kangs outscored the home team 31-16 to take a 16-point lead into the final eight minutes of play.

Drew Heimdahl led the Kangs with 14 points while teammate Jeff Staudacher had 12 points. Nine different players scored for Lake Washington.

Juanita was led by Connor Andrews with 12 points.
