Lake Washington beats Interlake behind big third quarter | Prep girls basketball

The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team defeated Interlake Wednesday, 56-35, after dominating the third quarter in Kirkland.

Lake Washington started the game with a 10-point lead during the fist quarter but Interlake was able to cut into the lead. The Kangs held a 27-21 advantage at halftime.

But Lake Washington dominated the Saints for a 20-3 third-quarter run to blow the game wide open.

Four players finished with double digits in scoring, including Sydney Shepard (13), Carly Rataushk (12), Hannah Brender (11) and Johnna Jahnke (11).
