Juanita standout a football all star

Recent Juanita High School graduate Joell Reyes was one of seven KingCo 4A football players -- and the only one from Kirkland -- to play in the East vs. West All-Star Summer Classic football game July 3 at Central Valley High School in Spokane. The game features the states top graduating seniors from 4A and 3A schools.

The East came from behind to top the west 17-14 with a 2-yard touchdown pass with 13 seconds remaining.

Reyes, who was listed as a linebacker and offensive lineman for the game, was recently named the MVP of the KingCo 4A baseball league.
