Lake Washington and Juanita results as of April 20

Girls Tennis

Juanita beat Franklin 9-0 on April 24. Kendra Francis, Claire Anderson, Renee Alison, Hana Nelson, Blair Howisey and Courtney Barnett won singles matches for the Rebels. Francis/Anderson, Alison/Ashley Manzoni and Emily Kerr/Candace Haghighi won doubles matches.

Lake Washington event winners: Eric Gillison (javelin), Brendin Crandall (high jump), Ethan Nordness (long jump), T.J. Galbraith (triple jump), Henry Park (pole vault), Ian Story (110- and 300-meter hurdles), Matt Hanson (200-meter), Collin Sayler (800-meter), Tim Hobbs, 1600-meter relay team.

Baseball

Lake Washington held off a late surge by Juanita to win 10-5 on April 25 at Lee Johnson Field. It was the third consecutive win for Lake Washington (11-7 overall, 11-7 league). Juanita (12-6, 12-6) scored all five runs in the final two innings. David Rosser went 3-3 with a double for Lake Washington. Steve Kirbach went 4-4 with two RBIs, a double and a two-run homerun in the sixth inning for Juanita.

Softball

Juanita scored five runs in the final two innings to beat Roosevelt 6-3 on April 25. Kylie Sparks recorded five strikeouts for Juanita (11-4, 11-4). Isabelle Batayola went 2-4 with a triple for Roosevelt (5-10, 5-10).

Redmond beat Lake Washington 3-2 on April 15. Rogin Hardy went 2-3 with a triple for Lake Washington (9-3, 9-3). Erika Hendron hit a double and knocked in two RBIs for Redmond (10-6, 10-6).

Boys Soccer

Lake Washington (5-5-1) and Inglemoor (3-6-2) drew 1-1 April 25 at Inglemoor High School. Ian Nova opened the scoring for Lake Washington in the 52nd minute off an assist by Zachary Hammond before Graham Humphries equalized in the 65th for Inglemoor.
