Bumblebees soccer team wins league championship

The Bumblebees, a U10 girls soccer team in the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association (LWYSA), recently won their league championship after going 15-0 in the season.

The Bees completed an undefeated season going 8-0 in league play and 7-0 in a playoff run, capped off with a 6-0 victory against the Purple Dragons on Nov. 10.

The Bees are a team of 10 girls from Keller, Frost and Muir elementary schools, coached by Chris Burke.
