Kirkland junior Rebels beat Bellevue, to face-off against Bothell Saturday

The junior Rebels varsity football team beat Bellevue in the semi-finals on Nov. 3 to advance to the championship game against an undefeated Bothell team on Saturday.

The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 at Pop Keeney Field in Bothell.

During the semi-finals game, Kirkland chased Bellevue during the contest and finally took the lead with 53 seconds left in the game.

Bellevue capitalized on some Rebels' penalties to take the ball down to the 10-yard line with two seconds left in the game.

On the final play, the Rebels managed to stop Bellevue on the half-yard line to win the game, 25-24.
