Lake Washington squeezes out a win against Eastlake

The Lake Washington girls tennis team narrowly defeated Eastlake Monday 4-3 behind strong singles play.

Kang Jess Lund beat Katie Park 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, while Amanda Levine (No. 3) beat Nina Kondza, 7-5, 6-2 and Chloe Nash (No. 4) beat Neha Singh 6-0, 6-3.

In doubles action, the Kang team of Shoda Shomali and Marissa Kirk fought hard against Wendie Yeung and Brenna Drummond of Eastlake.

Despite dropping the second set, Lake Washington's No. 2 doubles team won the match 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, to clinch the victory for the Kangs.
