Kirkland National Little League softball all stars win state title

After winning the District 9 tournament in early July the Kirkland National Little League fastpitch softball all star team won the state tournament.

The team repeated as the state champions, now at the 10-11 year old level. In the eight games since the district tournament started the team has outscored it's opponents 84-3. Lisa Nelson threw three no hitters and Tatum Kawabata had one no hitter.
